TROY CHURCH OF CHRIST

We believe the Bible is inspired by God and provides everything we need to know to live faithfully and please Him. We seek to speak where the Bible speaks and follow its teachings in all things.

Scripture: 2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21.

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who died for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day. Through Him, we have the opportunity to receive forgiveness and eternal life.

Scripture: John 14:6; 1 Corinthians 15:1–4

We believe salvation is made possible by God's grace through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. We respond to the Gospel through faith, repentance, confession of Jesus as Lord, and baptism for the forgiveness of sins.

Scripture: Ephesians 2:8–10; Acts 2:38; Romans 10:9–10; Acts 22:16

We believe following Jesus involves more than a confession of faith; it means living daily according to His teachings. We seek to grow in holiness, serve others, love our neighbors, and encourage one another toward spiritual maturity.

Scripture: Luke 9:23; Galatians 2:20; James 1:22

We believe Jesus established His church and is its head. We seek to follow the pattern of the New Testament church in our teaching, worship, leadership, and mission.

Scripture: Matthew 16:18; Ephesians 1:22–23; Colossians 3:17

We believe worship should honor God and be offered in spirit and truth. We are committed to biblical teaching, prayer, congregational singing, the Lord's Supper, and giving as an expression of our devotion to God.

Scripture: John 4:23–24; Acts 2:42; Acts 20:7; Colossians 3:16–17

We believe Jesus Christ will return, the dead will be raised, and all people will stand before God in judgment. We look forward to the promise of eternal life with the Lord and seek to live faithfully as we await His return.

Scripture: John 5:28–29; Acts 17:30–31; 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17
