What to Expect
Worship
You will find that at the Troy Church of Christ we are doing our best to worship in Spirit and in Truth. During our worship service every Sunday you can be uplifted and participate in acapella singing, prayer, studying from God’s word by way of our sermon, partake of the Lord’s Supper, and have the opportunity to contribute a portion of your blessings to help further the work of the Church.
We hope that everyone who worships with us can leave uplifted, but also a little bit spent from pouring their heart and soul into praising our God. We believe that worshiping together is a vital part of the Christian life and strive to make sure our hearts and minds are centered on Christ.
Core Beliefs
Jesus is the Son of God who lived a perfect life, and was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. This is where we find out hope.
Salvation is culminated in full immersion baptism.
All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. And therefore are in need of the grace that He provides.
It is our job and privilege as Christians to live, to the best of our ability, as much like Christ as we can. Through our words and actions.
Atmosphere
At the Troy Church of Christ, we take what we do and who we serve very seriously. However, we try not to take ourselves too seriously. We are a group made up of all sorts of backgrounds and upbringings. We love God and do our best to love each other. We are friendly, inviting, honest, respectful, fun-loving, and Christ-serving. We hope that wherever you are from, you will come enjoy some coffee and let us show you why we love our Savior.
